“…the high tech industry has become a major recruiter of elite MBA talent in recent years. Amazon leads this parade at one school after another, hiring 35 MBAs last year at INSEAD, 34 at Michigan Ross, 23 at both MIT Sloan and Northwestern Kellogg, 19 at Chicago Booth, and a 15 at Duke Fuqua.”

“MBA programs often track student’s interactions throughout the scholarship process, he says, whether they’re emailing with a student ambassador, calling the receptionist, or meeting with an admissions director, and they expect the student to be positive and professional at every turn. And if you’re putting in the work to negotiate your tuition, the team expects you to show enthusiastic interest in the program.”
