When the Relish team set out to make the recruiting and hiring process more user-friendly, we started in the MBA market as RelishMBA. Since then, we’ve launched RelishCareers as we expanded our platform to help a dozen additional graduate business degrees like Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.
Today we’re excited to announce a new chapter in the RelishCareers story: support for hiring and recruiting in the engineering (and data science) market.
Starting now, students earning their MS, ME, or PhD in an engineering field – from aerospace to systems engineering – can create a free profile on RelishCareers and share their experience, skills, and preferences with recruiting teams from premier employers around the world. And in addition to making it easier for recruiters to discover them, engineering candidates on RelishCareers can use our new smart job search tool to find open positions catered to their degree, and can leverage our relationship management tools to save and track the most relevant opportunities.
New Profile Creation System
We’ve also overhauled our profile creation process to allow candidates to share degree-specific skills and experience – just scroll to the “Degree-Specific Fields” section on your profile creation screen and select the fields that are most relevant to your job search. Studying computer science? Let recruiters know your top programming languages. Studying robotics? Add your CAD skills to your RelishCareers profile with the click of a button.
New Smart Job Search
How do you find open positions that are relevant to your degree? The new smart job search tool on RelishCareers (powered by Indeed) lets engineers search opportunities that match their degree, so users only see the job postings that are relevant to them. RelishCareers users can filter by location, company name, and keyword, and can save job postings to their user dashboard to keep track of relevant positions.
Coming Soon: Featured Employer Search + More
We constantly update the RelishCareers platform with new features and functionality, and we’re already hard at work on new tools for Engineering students and alumni. Improvements to the job search tool, new degree-specific profile fields, and other enhancements are in the hopper, and within the next several weeks we’ll be rolling out Featured Employer pages with degree-specific employer info and points of contact from top recruiting teams.
Are you an engineering student or alum from one of our partner schools? Visit our signup page now to create your account and use the new profile creation and job search tools. And let us know what you think of the platform by reaching out via our contact page – we’re always eager to hear from our users about their ideas to improve the user experience.
